FEBEG's main goals are to:
• bring together the companies in the electricity and gas sector and coordinate and represent their general interests, especially as regards economic, fiscal and social policies as well as legal aspects and the environment;
• study, promote and implement all initiatives that can contribute to the sector's regulatory, scientific and industrial development and promote the growth of Belgian electricity and gas companies;
• promote the quality and security of data transmission among FEBEG's members and other market stakeholders by– among other things – providing administrative support for financial reconciliation in the Belgian electricity and gas markets.
